The Best Seller
I’ve been reading a book lately. It’s the number one best-seller of all time. This book covers many of the events that have been happening in our world today. It mentions the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, the terrible earthquakes in Haiti and Japan, and the tornados that recently ripped through the south. It talks about the war in Iraq, the war in Afghanistan, and the unrest and uprisings in the Middle East. There is even a section which mentions events like the Columbine shootings, the Oklahoma City bombing, 9/11, and the killing spree at Virginia Tech. It also refers to the deadly diseases that have been emerging upon the scene. In addition to all of these things, this book describes many other events taking place in the world that many people don’t even realize are happening. It takes us through past history and shows us what the future will be like. It describes the loss of freedom that is taking place as a result of the war on terror. It shows that all these natural disasters, wars, political and social unrest, etc. aren’t going to get any better, only worse. This book ends with a very solemn message. It says that Jesus is coming soon... very soon. A number of authors wrote this book, and the source of their authorship is very credible. You probably have this book yourself, as do millions of others around the world. I encourage you to open the book, make it a matter of serious study, and get ready for the coming of Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords.
"Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown." (Revelation 3:11)
"Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book." (Revelation 22:7)
"And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be." (Revelation 22:12)
"He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus." (Revelation 22:20)
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)
